In his letter to those suffering for their faith in Christ, Peter shifts to practical ways that they ought to live in the contexts of their relationship with government, those whom they serve, and their spouses. Yet, all of this pragmatic guidance comes through the example of the Suffering Servant, Jesus Christ, who suffered for and served others to God’s glory.
