Not only is Paul in prison, but he has also been abandoned by some of his friends. This could be a point of discouragement for Timothy, but once again Paul writes to Timothy to remind him that despite his circumstances, the Lord has rescued and strengthened him. This week we mediate on what it means to trust in the Lord.
