Matthew 6:19-34
Jesus spent this part of His message confronting fence-sitters, painting in black and white. Our hearts are fixed either on treasure in heaven or treasure on earth, on light or darkness, on God’s Kingdom or our own. Jesus is clear, “No one can serve two masters” (Matt 5:24). Jesus addressed the focus of our heart because it determines what we live for. What are you living for? Have you found a purpose that satisfies or is insatiable? This week we will look at our own hearts to discover what we are truly living for.
