Again, Jesus simplified the complexities of life by inviting His listeners to pursue one of two options: the narrow or the wide way. Going further, Jesus spoke directly to our culture, which attempts to blur the lines of truth, by declaring that we may discern what is true and what isn’t by examining fruit. This week, we see Jesus confront the ever-present “middle way” by revealing that neutrality is nothing more than veiled compromise, but that there is a truly better way.
