Matthew 6:1-6
Jesus taught on two of the most practical spiritual disciplines — giving and prayer. He commanded these external acts from His followers, but He was clear that the true internal motive behind them will also be known by God. Jesus’ focus was not external behavior modification, but internal heart transformation.
