Description

I know a lot of people out there have dealt with negative body image thoughts, disordered eating, or has seen a loved one go through it. The pressures of social media can definitely create a toxic mentality of how you think you should look like. Every day, we are bombarded by health influencers telling us we should eat a certain way or work out a specific way, but in reality, everybody is different. There is no one size fits all when it comes to our health and bodies. So, today’s Guest is Ali Eberhardt. Ali is a Registered Dietician who has helped countless women ditch diet culture. She has been working in the Provincial Adult Tertiary Specialized Eating Disorders Program since 2011 . She also has her own podcast called "Let Us Eat Cake", where her and her co-host Hannah answer questions all about nutrition and disordered eating!
In today’s episode, we talk about the process of becoming a registered dietician, her thoughts on health influencers, how she built her practice and how she continuously grows her client-based,  why most women deal with disordered eating and top 3 skills she thinks you should have to be a successful RD. I hope this episode is helpful for anyone either interested in becoming a Registered Dietician or just curious to learn more about the industry.
