Steve McCabe is best known as the frontman for Oshkosh-based Redshift Headlights. Prior to that Steve was in other projects including Cookie Bug, congratulations on
your decision to become a pilot, and the Willis among others. On March 15th he released his first solo album under the name "Bird and Air". I’d like to welcome Steve McCabe to Fox Cities Core on Code Zero Radio.
Bird and Air is a debut solo experimental indie pop album written, performed, and engineered by Steve McCabe at Big Garage Studios.
the album was an experiment in self-discovery and independence. the songs are big arcs of biography, bits of fantasy, flashes of images in the
shape of life and art, piecing together the stuff of a life, starting with love and ending with wonder.
