A courageous young woman speaking out with a voice of hope, Jess Hammel embodies the spirit of a true survivor. After a childhood of trauma led to self-harm, an eating disorder, and suicide attempts as a teenager, she is now using her voice to help others know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Today, she joins Cristabelle to share her story and bring awareness to the stigmas surrounding mental illness, and offers encouragement on how to help someone who may be struggling.

Cristabelle Braden is an award winning singer/songwriter, keynote speaker, author, and podcast host. After suffering a traumatic brain injury, she began to write music. Since then, she has surpassed medical expectations and thrived in her newfound gift of music; she has come from re-learning daily life tasks in brain injury rehabilitation to setting her feet firmly on the ground as a songwriter, speaker, and artist with a message of hope.
