Briefly recapping Hebrews 11, Pastor Lance finishes up the chapter examining the faith of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, and Samuel. Despite their lapses in faith, caving into fear and lust, doubting the Lord, and fleeing from persecution, God's Word remembers these flawed individuals as pillars of faith because of all that God was able to accomplish through their lives. He had shown Himself mighty on their behalf, and the Lord receives all the glory for His victories. Pastor Lance points out that God worked out the details for these people - He simply asked obedience of them.
