In going through Colossians 1:9-12, Pastor Lance highlights how we must be a church who prays as Paul did, to be intentional in pursuing communion with the Lord, and filled with the knowledge of God's will. When we're fully submitted to the will of God, it will be evidenced by the fruit of our lives and the filling of the Holy Spirit. True spiritual wisdom must affect our day-to-day life...we must apply God's Word! Pastor Lance reiterates that our approach to everything should be "God-centered", not "me-centered". Our life should be an expression of Jesus Christ's revelation, evident to the world around us. It should include a love of His Word, absolute obedience, enlarged faith, greater love for others, a spiritual strength that only comes from the Holy Spirit, and joy will mark my life, as will patience and thankfulness.
