In this episode of Made to Lead, new host Emma introduces herself. She is joined by ILC Faculty Fellow, Dr. Yusaku Takeda, an assistant professor in business administration with the Gies College of Business. A graduate from Wesleyan and Harvard Universities with degrees in business and sociology, Dr. Takeda has an extensive background in leadership research, focusing on change dynamics in corporate settings. Together, Emma and Dr. Takeda discuss making changes within large organizations. Through the lens of a theoretical corporate scenario, the two examine the challenges of creating widespread change in large systems, the role of shared organizational values in such shifts, and the importance of clear goal setting.
