In this message, we start our sermon series on the book of Joshua. The book picks up where Deuteronomy leaves off- Moses has died and Joshua, son of Nun, is to be the Lord-appointed leader of the Israelites. In many ways, Joshua embodies deliverance, salvation, and is victorious, but at the end of the day, Joshua dies. Ultimately, Joshua points us to the coming deliverer, the coming victor, the final salvation: Jesus Christ.
