This morning, Hank walked us through the beginning of Acts chapter 6 and the appointment of Deacons in the early Church. While the Church exists primarily to worship the Lord, we are also to serve our community. The seven chosen were to attend to the tables, while the apostles concerned themselves with preaching the word- both integral parts of church ministry.
