As we continue our journey through Joshua this morning, we look at the origin story of Rahab. At first glance, she is nothing more than a gentile prostitute and a liar, but her story doesn't end there. We can spend time debating the morality of her lie, but something that is much more beneficial for us is the truth she confesses: "the LORD your God, he is God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath.” Let us never forget that we were no better off than Rahab, but God, in his mercy, sought to save us. We hope this sermon blesses you in the Lord.
