Description

Host Tatyanna Wright's friend Tracy Jennings-Hills is an African American woman formerly in the US Airforce. In this interview she shares what it was like to live and serve in a predominately white male environment. Tracy also talks about discovering yoga organically as a way to heal after her husband was killed while on active duty. Yoga helped Tracy begin to rebuild her life offering support as a life tool while retiring from the US Air Force.

As she healed from her loss, she founded LiveURYoga, a studio in Atlanta, Georgia where she works with surviving spouses of active duty military members, teaching them yogic life skills. Her focus, vision and mission is about providing a platform for transformation, empowerment, and growth meeting each person where they are but more importantly giving them the tools to flourish. Tracy has been leading retreats to India since 2007.
