Normally I am having conversations with others in order to bring light to issues and situations that our community as a whole should be talking about, for the purposes of unity and growth. However, sometimes it’s just as important to sit back and reflect on your own actions and situations; therefore, you are able to identify areas where growth or nurturing of some sort is needed. That very thought has brought me to the purpose of my March sentiments to you: “Life is all about Turning L’s into Lessons, and winning when it’s all said and done!”
This past Saturday, March 14, 2020, I had planned to host my first live podcast for Sentiments 2 Self:A Much Needed Conversation. The event was designed around my experience at Tyler Perry Studios for Steve Harvey’s new Facebook Watch series. Although the event did not occur on March 14th, what I did learn along the way is that this is only the beginning and the lessons will only bring elevation
