When does tradition become untenable? How does it adapt with the times? Documentarian looks at these at these questions and more in the new film A Taste of Whale, which examines "The grind", a pilot whale hunt that takes place every year in the Faroe Islands. Among pressure from activists such as Sea Shephard, and even push back within their own communities, the Faroese Hunters openly acknowledge some of their own concerns about the hunt, while maintaining tradition.
