While Denise Sedor's earliest school experiences did little to develop her artistic talent, she found ways throughout her artistic journey to learn and nurture the spirit within her that calls her to create--the most recent, during the pandemic, exploring digital classes in figural and portraiture studies that "saved her sanity" during lockdown. An admirer of abstract expressionists, using bold color and shapes, she finds her own work peeks at hidden emotions that she hopes will resonate with her audiences.
