Pat would go. In this episode I talk with Pat Heine. Video Producer for Hearst Publishing Bicycling and Runner’s World digital media group. When I made a list of the people I wanted to interview for the podcast Pat was always on the short list. With his start in production work during college in Ohio and then Germany, his work at last year’s Tour de France, to combining ultra running with his current career at Hearst he is full of great stories.
I’ve always been fascinated with Pat’s abilities in the ultra running community. We talk about his low key approach to fitness, training and recovery. In addition to the preparation and impact of traveling for races near home or in Europe.
So the next time it’s cold, raining or snowing and you might not want to venture out for your workout, just say to yourself Pat would go. Works every time.
