Heavy metal fan, horror film lover, drummer, meditation advocate, badass and high school english teacher? In this episode of the Bulldog Cafe Podcast I talk with Mr. Christopher Barnes high school english teacher at Northern Lehigh High School. In his first year of teaching in the high school after years of teaching at the districts middle school we talk about why he wanted to become a teacher, his unorthodox classroom and his love of his students. At a time when teachers are under more pressure than ever, Mr. Barnes seems to find a daily calm in his classroom. Not that all days are ideal but with an attitude that his students understand, he like others in his profession bring out the best in their students.
