CBC's upcoming documentary entitled One Million Trees is the brainchild of 26 year old Everett Bumstead. Originally from Platsville, Ontario, Everett graduated from Vancouver Film School in 2012. He spent the following 4 years planting trees and using the money he made to buy camera equipment and fund indie film projects. He currently lives in Vancouver where he works as a freelance editor/director specializing in music videos and documentaries. We talk about Everett's time as a tree planter, and now from the other side of a camera lens putting together One Million Trees. A great interview to learn more about the inspiration for the documentary as well as what to expect from it come November!
