I reviewed the latest Mission: Impossible film starring Tom Cruise. To be honest, there’s a lot of exposition in this movie—along with tons of great action. It combines some of the series’ highest highs when it comes to stunts, but also some of its lowest lows in terms of plot and storytelling. Ultimately, it’s a fun ride, but it’s weighed down by a convoluted setup early on and a weak villain.
