Tom and Mattie had the true honour of speaking with Mark Jenkin, the director, editor, soundtrack-writer (and more) behind the utterly masterful Bait (2019).
Bait is a story about the struggles of a local community in Cornwall, through the eyes of Martin, a fisherman without a boat, coming into conflict with his brother, his community, and the forces of middle-class gentrification.
We talk with Mark about Bait’s story, its themes, its cast, the unique potential of the form of film, and so much more.
