In our pursuit of purpose, sometimes we get stuck in our own passion projects. It is especially during these times that it is important to look beyond ourselves and find ways to help others—especially those that are most vulnerable. Though it is possible to contribute to worthy causes around the world, how might you start locally? I share my story of working with the wonderful School on Wheels Organization (schoolonwheels.org) in California—as a volunteer tutor to homeless children—and how it had a profoundly positive impact on my life.
