This talk explores the process of “becoming” in relation to the state of “being.” The beautiful quote from St. Francis of Assisi, “The place you are looking for is already the place you are looking from” is discussed as we recognize the difference in perception when we operate from the place of the person and the place of the observer—while recognizing that we are both. Freedom is our nature, and the process of becoming free is simultaneously observed from that place of freedom—all within the Self.
