Sharing a story from my teenage years to illustrate a moment of self-sufficiency (with thanks to my parents and family for the strong foundation which helped me to be that way!) and encouragement to start where you are, with what you have, as you chart your own path. // Episode note: I forgot to mention that I arrived at Case Western on the weekend for the program. I remember going to a phone booth and finding the university in a phone book and calling the main number, but no one answered as it was the weekend.
