Tom Witry is one of the most beloved members of the Dubuque community. Coach Witry spent years fundraising and researching parks all over the nation to bring our city a park that would meet the needs of all children. With his love and passion Miracle Park and the Miracle League has giving children in our community a place to play where everyone is accepted. Before Coach Witry ventured on his latest project he was the second ever hear varsity baseball coach at Hempstead High School following Hall of Fame Coach Dick Core. Coach Witry sits down to talk about his time at Hempstead, coaching travel baseball at Gold Standard Athletics, and what went into bring the Miracle League to Dubuque, Iowa.
