There have been revivals, but for the people brought to Christ the long-term impacts were not that great. These revivals might be better referred to as local blips in numbers than a real revival. In any case, these revivals lost momentum until in this modern era churches close and struggle to retain the interests of their community. There maybe a better way to do revival.
