Belief is too often compared to doubt, as if doubt was a thing. This has left believers open to accusations of belief having no foundation. Simply due to the capacity of the other person to doubt your claim. This is an absurd comparison. No one can achieve a threshold of prove that leaves all persons incapable of doubting the claim. A better comparison ought to be between types of belief. Is belief based on strategy better than a belief based on fate, other wise we are trying to compare applies with oranges.
