Apologetics is not just an exercise in which Biblical statements are explained. Apologetics justifies faith because it demonstrates the meta-truths that give rise to the extrapolations and narrations of Scripture. If we simply talk about what the Bible says, we miss the fact this truth is in our hearts and expresses the very nature of the Holy Spirit. Remember also, that Jesus is the Word that gave rise to all of creation. The Bible is true because it is faithful to the truth overseen by God the Father. Apologetics that does not point to this source material does only half a job.
