Nationalism is feared and hated by the left and it is not supported much by Christians either. It seems to place too much emphasis on the state rather than on human beings as a whole or on God, specifically. But the nation has a place in Christianity, but it is not something well understood. What we need to ask ourselves is if the nation is just a waypoint on the way to the global Caliphate or another concession to a stiff-necked people, meaning this time, Christians.
