The lie is that the positive can be proven, when in empirical science it is an accepted condition that no experiment conclusively proves what it demonstrates. Other interpretations are always possible and new findings can always alter our understanding. The claim we cannot disprove God is only conditionally valid. It is a statement that cannot possibly true in the absolute sense, meaning there are conditions under which the non-existence of God can be verified.
