Are we saved by faith or by works. It makes no sense to be saved by works, because this is the doctrine of all religions and secularists. A religious person works to earn enough points to warrant being inducted into whatever hall of fame they believe in. Christianity is not like that. But to be saved by faith makes no sense either. Our faith has no real value and could be considered the least of all works. The Bible itself does not truly say we are saved by one or the other. Faith does not save us as if it was something with magical powers, but neither do works. We cannot buy our way into heaven. But faith does not impress God and if He decreed, we were saved from the beginning, our faith is a meaningless trope. So, there is something we are missing, which is to be expected if we were locked into an ineffective spiritual immaturity. The spiritual immature think they are saved and cry Lord, Lord like infants crying for their mother. In truth, they do not know what will save them.
