It's Mental Health Awareness Month! During this month, organizations and people from around the world raise awareness about mental health. An important aspect of mental health is psychological safety, not just for our children and within our homes, but also in the workplace.
Psychological safety is defined as the ability to show one's self without the fear of negative consequences. Many employees are fearful to use their creativity and innovation on team projects; however, that's what is preventing or delaying teams from growing.
In this episode of The Latika Vines Show, Latika shares why psychological safety matters in the workplace; while announcing the newest issue of The Career Development Resource Newsletter which provides tips and inspiration to define and implement psychological safety in the workplace.
