So tonight I had my eyes opened by Maker's Mark. Maker's was my "Dad's Bourbon". While it truly was, it wasn't MY favorite, I went the route of single malts instead. But after my trip to Kentucky this year, I bought a little 375 of 46 and thought I found something special. Tonight, however, I had three expressions of Maker's Mark; the Mark, the 46 and the Private Select and I fell in love. Hot Damn! In order, you truly get to enjoy what each has to offer, culminating in the high proof and deliciously complex Select. Well done Maker's Mark. Well done indeed.
