This week Jimi welcomes Kristen Liu-Wong, an illustrator known for her sensual and dreamlike tableaus which depict themes of feminine empowerment, sexuality, personal relationships, intimacy and desire in a heightened and at times mythological style. She studied at NYC’s Pratt Institute and has since been based in Los Angeles where she has participated in several Secret Walls battles. Kristen also designed an edition of our Artist Bootleg t-shirt series. She speaks with Jimi over Zoom about cancel culture, taboo art, exercising in quarantine, Instagram censorship, her love of reality tv and comparing their pets.
