Failure is not something that our culture teaches us to deal with well. Most of us are surprised by our own failure, and it can lead us to feel broken, anxious, guilty, shameful, or fearful, all of which leave us crippled and less able to deal with our failure. Following our last episode about how everyone needs to go to counseling, Ryan and Trevor talk in this episode about the typical unhealthy ways we often try and deal with failure, draw on major scriptural stories about people navigating failure, and discuss some healthy ways to take steps forward out of failure and towards the full life that God has for us.
