On the first episode of Films of 2022 We Want To Share With You, Joshua has picked Cyrano, a film based on the play Cyrano De Bergerac by Edmond Rostand in 1897. Joshua who is a huge fan of the play was even more excited to see a new take on the film itself, and is even more excited than that to share it with all of YOU! Colton and Joshua will go through the film, talking about their favorite moments, and end by rating the film. What will our hosts give this film that Joshua found to be so enjoyable? Cyrano is a master of words and of skill as he is an elite soldier as well as poet. However, as a person with dwarfism he feels that that he will never be good enough to conquer his biggest obstacle, his fear of confessing his love for his closest friend Roxanne. Roxanne has fallen for another soldier, a new recruit named Christian who has is a physically attractive young man but lacks the eloquence of Cyrano so Cyrano promises Roxanne that he will befriend Christian and make him write to Roxanne. Cyrano finds that Christian isn't a romantic like himself and so Cyrano decides to write for Christian, causing Roxanne to fall deeper in love with the man behind the letters as she receives them. Will Cyrano ever be able to share his true feelings with Roxanne or will his pride stop him from ever revealing the truth?
