Daniel Plainview has dreams of striking it rich with oil, and he will use whatever means necessary to achieve that dream. When he finds oil deposits in a portion of land he strikes a deal with the family who owns the deed. However things take a turn for the worse as he deals with complications with the townsfolk, his own family, and a wily preacher who won’t leave him alone. Daniel may not strike oil but one thing is for sure, There Will Be Blood.
