Coach Brendan Suhr is joined by Fran O'Hanlon, Head Coach of the Lafayette Leopards.
Fran O'Hanlon is in his 26th season as the head coach of the Lafayette basketball program. He is the longest tenured coach in the Patriot League, has won four conference titles and owns three NCAA Tournament appearances, including both feats in 2014-15. O’Hanlon has also been named the Patriot League Coach of the Year in a vote of his peers on three occasions.
In this episode, Coach O'Hanlon takes you through his life experiences with the game of basketball beginning with his days as a player and taking us into his 26th season as the head coach at Lafayette. He shares several lessons he has learned from coaching legends John Chaney & Fran Dunphy, the importance of "blooming where you are planted", his offensive & defensive styles of play as well as several sayings that can apply to everyone's journey as a coach.
