Human. Data learns a great deal about what it means to be human in his life, but he distills it so well in "Data's Day." His description of the interior existence of humanity not only tells us we are more than our DNA, but indicates the essential elements of how we become more fully human. These elements are not unlike the way Jesus grew and when we contemplate the full humanity of his incarnation, we can understand more of the Divinity available to ours.
In these devotional segments, you are invited to make some sacred space and time. You might wish to light candles in a home Advent wreath. You might take a quiet moment alone, or with those you love. Whatever you do, I invite you to join me, every Sunday of Advent, as we seek out new life in the incarnation of Christ.
