I am super excited to be sharing this conversation with Richard Fransham

Richard told me how early in his teaching career, he read “Education and Ecstasy” by George Leonard and that set him on a course to becoming a strong advocate for self-directed learning. He now focuses his advocacy on the mental health of young people, which has two core ingredients: social justice and self-determination. He explains how these ingredients form the basis to self-directed learning.

Richard has initiated The Youth Rights Dayto provide youth and their supporters with the opportunity to show the power of their combined voices.
