The panel makes a long-awaited return to being live in the studio and asks to become the Supreme Ruling Council in the season premiere of the 4th season. This episode is Haley's final episode this season as a regular member of the panel (she will be missed) and Ethan will be on the show biweekly this season (at least we have Ethan around sometimes). The stories this week are:
- Gideon looking into the national debate about COVID restrictions and school board politics colliding here in Arizona
- John discussing Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer publicly criticizing the decision to uphold the recent Texas anti-abortion law pending lower courts looking into it
- Ethan explaining a bit on what is happening in Afghanistan during and in the aftermath of the US withdrawal, along with discussing the article in the New Yorker, "The Other Afghan Women"
- Kirsten looking back on the infamous Slenderman stabbing in Waukesha, Wisconsin as one the girls involved gets released
- Haley talking about the AZ Cardinals starting their season against the Titans, ASU football facing UNLV as they unveil their redesigned helmets, the Sun Devil Stadium field being redone to commemorate 9/11 and Herm Edwards talking about his memories of the day of 9/11
This episode was recorded on September 10th. The intro music is "Dedicated to the Press" by Betty Davis and the outro is "We Are Heading to the East" by springtide.
