I personally cannot imagine facing death without knowing my Lord. I can’t imagine the fear and anxiety I would have as I stood at death’s door. And rightly so, aside from the power of the cross, we have no hope, no redemption. We would be left to face the complete and eternal separation from the Creator of the heavens and the earth. We would face eternal torment and only because we chose to turn our backs on God.
