Has there ever been a time when you have lost optimism in life? Have you ever thought it is time to throw in the towel because of things going on in the world, in our nation, in your family? Have you ever felt there isn’t any hope for things to change? Or what’s the use trying? Have you ever been disgusted with what you are seeing on the news or on the political front?
I am sure that most of us can answer yes to one or more of these questions. There are times when we struggle with what is happening in our lives and what is happening around us. In these times, we should never quit. We should strive to make a difference in the world. We should work towards a better tomorrow. We should be the most optimistic group of people on the planet.
It doesn’t matter who is in charge of our nation because God has placed them there. It doesn’t matter who is your congressmen, God placed them there? It doesn’t matter who your state representatives are, God placed them there. Don’t misunderstand, we must participate in our civic duties and vote so our vote may make a difference. After all, God works through his people. It also doesn’t matter who your boss is, God placed him in that position. It doesn’t matter who your parents are, God placed them in that position of authority in your life.
Brothers and sisters, we have so much to be thankful for as believers, after all, God has our backs. He will never leave us. He will never allow us to face a circumstance that separates us from Him. He is ALWAYS with us.
