How is it we never grow out of wanting to be told a story? We tend to think of stories as being just for children but if we go way back, back before iphones and the internet, back before the advent of rail and television, before the era of flight and telephone communication, and we find ourselves in a world when telling a story to one another was our everything - our communication, our entertainment and our education.
There is so much to be learned from others through the stories they tell us. The power of the voice and the written word carry untold weight and it's a an art we are once again remembering to value.
