Welcome back to Nuanced Beauty!

It's opening day of baseball season. And what better way to start than to ask ourselves "Is baseball boring?" You see, Bill watches baseball, and I occasionally watch it, but not really that much. I also think of it as a dying sport.

BUT Bill and I spent a whole 25 minutes exploring the ins and outs of the sport. The stats, the wonky pranks the players play on each other, the beautifully slow pace of play. There is no other sport where you can listen to the announcers talk about the most random of things in the middle of a multi-million dollar production. And, of course, we also have to discuss the possibility of visiting all stadiums in just one season. Because after all, there are 164 (cough, cough 162!) games in a season.

I hope you if you fall in the same camp as me, Christina, you are challenged to see baseball with just a little more glimmer than when you started listening to this episode.

Because, as said in Willy Wonka, a little nonsense now and then is treasured by the wisest men.
