Welcome back to Nuanced Beauty!
Have you heard the declining numbers around alcohol consumption? Why is that?
Today Bill leads us through some thoughts on the matter. We think it might have something to do with less social engagements, face to face. We also mention the cost per drinks going up quite a bit to make bars of yester-years less popular. Could the availability of non-alcoholic drinks have helped the decline in drinking? Or perhaps the decline in drinking has led to the increase in NA options. There's also lovely drinks like La Croix and Komboucha that can quench the thirst with some similarity to drinking... Perhaps people are more worried about their health and what goes into their bodies? Or perhaps the presence of other avenues to entertain the dreary soul is gaining traction, think vaping, smoking pot, and screens.
All this and many more random thoughts.
Enjoy.
