Welcome Back to Nuanced Beauty!
Today's discussion is a lighter one as we explore the making of coffee snobs. We confess, our horizons were broadened when we moved to Seattle and we passionately enjoyed the lifeline that coffee provided as we managed to thrive/survive in the dreary, dark overcast winters. Coffee shops are the place to work and forge friendships, play a board game, and sit and read.
Fast forward to life in the SE, and we realize that the love of coffee might be parallel to the love of sweet tea here. We know aplenty about coffee but nothing about sweet tea. So, when you know very little about a topic, can you get curious and learn more? Or would you rather check out? Lean in and enjoy our stories of how to take your coffee, coffee at sea, and more.
Shout out to many great coffee shops in the NW: Port Side Espresso, Uptown Espresso, Better Living through coffee, (no longer) Tully's, Kitty Cafe?, and Olympia Coffee. And of course Starbucks (the reserve in Capital Hill is amazing)... to name a few.
Here in JAX, we've found: Bold Bean Espresso, and Pour Mike's Coffee. Honorable mentions to Ellianos and Kookaburra.
