Description

On this week's Going Deutsch: the title race in the Bundesliga takes an unexpected twist as Bayern implode against Mainz and Dortmund somehow don't implode against Eintracht Frankfurt, that gives BVB the lead with five to go whilst further down the table, Hertha show a lack of defensive ability in a 4-2 loss to Werder Bremen, Wolfsburg win 5-1 against Bochum in the most even lopsided game of all time, and Schalke have a null vier loss to Freiburg. In the Zweite, Darmstadt edge closer to promotion, Andreas Luthe puts in an inspiring performance in an uninspiring game, and a bad thing happens. Also on the pod: there's only one team left in Europe, a look at Germany's fourth tier(s), Arminia Bielefeld's confusing special kit, and Pál Dárdai's lack of appreciation for a Spanish culinary staple.

Side note: TWO WINS FOR THE KRAKEN!!!
